THE MILK JUG HOUSE! Our most recent flip was located in the Masterson Station neighborhood in Lexington, KY. We purchased this property at the Fayette County Master Commissioners sale for $113,500.00. It's 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and it came with over 500 Milk jugs. Yes the back yard, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room were all filled with empty milk jugs. I have no idea what that was all about!
The repairs on this house were pretty standard. We painted the whole house and tore out the stained carpets in the living room and master bedroom, and the dirty linolium in the kitchen and bathrooms and installed ceramic tile in the kitchen and baths, and put a nice wood flooring in the living room and hallway! We had to replaced the roof on this house which was the biggest expense. We put in a nice backsplash, new light fixture and stainless steel appliances which made the Kitchen pop! This house SOLD IN ONLY 6 DAYS on the market for $147,900! The total repairs were $13,375.00 bringing our profit to: $15,949.08
